Narrative

My aim is to conduct research and activism on issues surrounding agrarian change, labor/livelihood, gender and social disenfranchisement in regions of occupation and conflict. My geographical areas of interest include South Asia (especially Northeast India and Kashmir) as well as West Asia (especially Palestine).

Theoretically I'm hoping to navigate an interesting space that combines critical Marxism and Post-Colonial Theory, as well as South Asian liberation thought. I also have a longstanding interest in different schools of feminist thought and plan on integrating feminist methodology in my fieldwork.
