Results of the Regional Councillor election were announced at the Business Meeting:

Professor Jon Kilpinen, Chair, Department of Geography, Valparaiso University, Valparaiso, Indiana, will begin his term as West Lakes Division Regional Councillor on July 1, 2003.  Jon succeeds Kathy Klink, of the Department of Geography, University of Minnesota.
 

West Lakes Division officers were elected at the Business Meeting:

Barbara VanDrasek, Department of Geography, University of Minnesota, was elected Division Chair.
Kazimierz (Casey) J. Zaniewski, Department of Geography, University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, was elected Secretary.
Both the Chair and Secretary terms will extend to the West Lakes meeting in Oshkosh in Fall 2004, because in Fall 2003 the annual meeting will be joint with the East Lakes Division.
Mehmet Aritan, Department of Geography, University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse, continues his 3-year term as Treasurer.
